A sultry scene loomed over the House of Blues in Chicago Sunday night. Lovers stepped danced, friends huddled in groups as a growing crowd of over 100 attendees grooved to the tunes of DJ Cymba, patiently waiting to be immersed in the R&B experience.
“I'm here supporting Lyrical and Live Nation,” said Angel Willingham. “The upcoming artist, Sherrionn, is going to do something big and exciting.”
But before Sherrionn graced the stage, the audience was invigorated by an electrifying performance from Chicago artist Tee Benji, spewing his notable songs like “Doing Too Much,” “Breaking You Off,” and “She Calling."

Singer Shantina Lynet, from the group The Lovely Lowe Sisters, took the stage and seemingly hypnotized the crowd while performing songs like “Personal,” Party Girls,” and renditions of Toni Braxton's “He Wasn't Man Enough,” and Beyonce's “Party.”
Following her set, Virginia native, BDii, illustrated his impeccable vocals, which resonated in records like “Back Around” and “Warm Enough.” During a rendition of Ginuwine's “Pony,” The Voice contestant enticed the crowd with a seductive performance, as the audience loudly sang along.

After a brief interlude, the curtains unveiled a colorful, decorated living room, with a large teddy bear situated on the right side. Sherrionn rocked the stage with an animated performance of R&B and Hip Hop songs like “Horse Ina Back,” “Bare Minimum,” and “DND,” while showcasing her agile footwork dance skills. In the middle of the performance, the stuffed “SherrBear” danced along and threw a plethora of stuffed animals to the audience, as the crowd eagerly jumped to grab one.

"The audience is live,” said concertgoer, Chubbie the god, “I came out to see Amari, but everybody has been doing good.”

Last but certainly not least, the headliner of the show, Amari Noelle, delivered a stellar performance of her songs “Put the Work In,” “For the Girls,” Giddy Up,” and “In Love With You.” Notable for her role in the television series, The Chi, Noelle captivated an audience that admired her multi-faceted artistry. During her set, her brother Ahmad Ferguson, also an actor on The Chi, joined her on stage to debut his vocal skills, throwing the crowd in a frenzy.
"I love all [music] genres, but I love when Amari sings R&B," said Chubbie the god.
